  • After completing his electrical and air-conditioning apprenticeship with Jersey Electricity (1988-1993) he continued to learn his trade on his travels across Europe and Australia. He started Aston Services in 2000 and now carries out a variety of duties within the organisation including Business Development, Tendering, Design, Project Management. NAPIT-approved and has City & Guilds Parts A-B-C, 2391 - 2380 - 17th Edition Regs - Qualified Air-conditioning Refrigeration Engineer.

  • Jamie began his apprenticeship in 1990 with EIME. After 14 years service, he moved to Aston Services, where he quickly proved to be an asset to the company and was made director in 2007. ECA, NAPIT approved and has City & Guilds Parts A-B-C, 2391 - 2380 - 17th Edition Regs.

  • Jon began his apprenticeship in 1989 in the UK. He moved to the island in 1996 where he worked for EIME for 9 years. In 2005, Jon joined Aston Services, where in recognition of his experience and dedication he was made a director in 2007. NIC-EIC, NAPIT approved and has City & Guilds Parts A-B-C, 2391 - 2380 - 17th Edition Regs.

  • Simon has 30 years of technical experience in building services engineering, with over 20 years post-graduation, and joined the company in 2023 as an Aston ACR director. His experience working in the UK and abroad has given him a strong foundation and a deep understanding of the industry's technical demands. He has extensive experience in the construction and consultancy sector for M&E and is responsible for managing the department and overseeing design and project management.

    B Eng (Hons) degree in Building Services Engineering,
    CIBSE accredited. (Loughborough University, UK)
    Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Services Engineering, CIBSE accredited. (Brighton College of Technology, UK)

  • Wayne joined the team in 2011 and has 24-years experience in the air conditioning and electrical trade. He is a Daikin, Mitsubishi & Ecodan-accredited installer and is also F Gas-certified.

  • An experienced bookkeeper, having previously worked in the finance industry for 23 years before joining the company in 2005, Nicky is responsible for the accounting practices and administration areas of the business.

  • Jim joined the company in 2014. With over 40-years of experience in the mechanical engineering industry Jim brings with him a wealth of knowledge covering residential, commercial and industrial installations. Jim oversees the mechanical contracting department and duties include project management and design.

  • Lee joined the team in 2010 and overseas the small works department. He has extensive knowledge of the electrical indusrty and provides technical assistance and customer service where necessary for variety customers. Lee has City & Guilds 2360, 2380, 2383, 2391.

  • Tom joined the team in 2017 to oversee the small works department. He previously owned his own business Artisan Plumbing and has extensive knowledge in residential and commercial installation, including solar and renewables.

  • Chris joined the company in 2017 in an administrative capacity and then progressed to managing the ACR maintenance department. He has extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and provides technical designs, installation drawings, and procurement. Chris is our SimPRO software specialist and supports engineers in the field.

  • Gavin worked for Aston for almost 10 years before leaving to set up his own electrical business. He rejoined Aston four years later as Director and manages the small works electrical departments.
